Last Saturday we had another GORGEOUS spring day for a beautiful wedding at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church and reception at Kimball Hall for Caroline and Darryl. These two are both engineers from Georgia Tech and with Caroline's attention to detail, I knew this wedding would be perfect and so very special. Caroline definitely had a specific vision for her day, one that included classic colors, traditional blooms, an epic first dance they had practiced for months and even a prank for her new husband during the garter toss... let's just say the "ice" on her hand wasn't the only "ice" she was wearing.
Last Saturday I had the honor of photographing Alyssa and Josh's beautiful spring wedding at the Country Club of the South! It was a day 8 years in the making and equally anticipated by Alyssa and Josh's amazing family and friends. These two met while co-oping for a semester in college at GE in Kentucky and had their first date at the local Steak 'n Shake. With their playful and down to earth personalities, this didn't shock me one bit. However, Josh DID make the proposal extra special by flying in Alyssa's sister Stephanie to be a part of the big day and capture all the action. How sweet is that?! Seeing how close they are, it is no surprise that Stephanie was in on the planning! Since Alyssa and Josh now live in Nevada, they relied on an amazing team of vendors and Alyssa's mom, Joane, to make sure this day went off without a hitch. The only possible threat was the weather forecast but thankfully it held out and the loved ones that came from near and far to celebrate this special day got to experience a beautiful spring day in Georgia... AKA warm and with lots of pollen.
