I had the honor of photographing Frances and Zack's joyous wedding day at The Estate recently and it was quite the party. Family and friends from all over the world traveled to be a part of the celebrations! It is no surprise that these two, from opposite ends of the country, found each other. Frances and Zack's smiles and laughter are contagious and when they're together, that is all there is. They are both so caring, genuine, and brilliant! They're both doctors and I have no doubt they will change the world... or at least end up on an episode of Grey's Anatomy because they're also a GORGEOUS couple!
Y'all. I had so much fun with Katie and Josh during their engagement session! It was more like an engagement marathon because we were including two venues - the Swan House at the Atlanta History Center and Ventanas and had to start early while the Swan House was still open! After a long month of weddings, I was just grateful to have a break from my computer screen to spend time outdoors but it was icing on the cake to have two new spaces to explore. The cherry on top was getting to spend extra time with old friends! I grew up with Katie and Josh in Statesboro but they now also live in Atlanta and wanted to incorporate the city into their images since they'll be getting married in Statesboro in the fall. Katie and Josh - I am so thankful to have been included in this exciting time in your lives and so glad y'all were willing to give up your entire day to capture these images. I hope y'all love them as much as I do! Next time, we include the pups ;)
I am SO excited to finally share more from Ashley and Bryan's beautiful wedding day at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens! These two have been exploring fabulous destinations across the pond and wanted to be able to completely disconnect without worrying about missing their blog. I would say this stunning day was worth the wait. We started the day at the Loews Hotel in Midtown Atlanta before heading to the Gardens. Walking into the Atlanta Botanical Garden was like entering paradise. Everything was in full bloom! The only hitch in our plans was the weather forecast, but both Ashley and Bryan's parents' weddings had rain so they were ready to just embrace it. They were both incredibly calm and just excited to see each other.
I had the pleasure of photographing Mallory and Brian for their engagement session at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens last week and we could not have picked a more beautiful day! With the Chihuly installation and gorgeous flowers in bloom, it was perfect for these two! Although with Brian being a chef, I was kind of hoping food would be involved... just kidding. Kind of. Mallory and Brian's story began long ago in Pennsylvania but life and love brought them to Atlanta. These two were so comfortable with each other and could make the other laugh at the drop of a hat. I had so much fun exploring the Gardens and taking a pit stop in Piedmont Park for fun shots of the skyline they now call home. Mallory and Brian - thank you so much for spending your evening with me! I cannot wait for your Summerour wedding in July!!!
Last week I met up with Eleanor and Jonathan for their engagement session in Piedmont Park after rescheduling due to all these April showers! Thankfully we ignored the forecast because it was the PERFECT day! These two are the absolute cutest together. Eleanor and Jonathan are just so comfortable together and he can make her laugh without saying a word. I first met Eleanor during my time at Georgia Tech and she was one of the leaders of the student group I supervised. It is so crazy to think that it was almost TWO years ago that I left Tech to pursue this business full time. I am so thankful that my "big girl job" brought Eleanor and Jonathan in my life! I can't wait for their wedding this fall! Thank you two for spending your evening with me strolling through the park! I hope you love these images as much as I do!
