Trying to schedule a time for Leslie and Brent's engagement session was tricky, as Brent lives in North Caroline Leslie was getting ready to move there! Before the move, they wanted to make sure to capture moments in the city where they met, fell in love, and Brent proposed. He asked Leslie the BIG question at Piedmont Park and they ended that special night at the Fox Theater for a show. I'm so glad they incorporated such special locations into their engagement shoot! Despite a little rain on our way to Jackson Street bridge, it turned into a GORGEOUS evening, perfect to capture Leslie and Brent's love. I had so much fun exploring the park and getting to know these two and can't wait to hear all about their wedding day! Leslie and Brent - thank you so much for taking time out of your Friday night to capture these images! Congratulations again!
Four Oaks Manor was the perfect setting for Jennifer and Brien's wedding day. The gardens are absolutely stunning and the backdrop for the altar with a mix of flowers in various shades of purple created a perfectly romantic backdrop for them to say "I do!". Everything was just so relaxed throughout the day and it was obvious that Jennifer and Brien were just excited to be married. I was so glad that I captured dual engagement/family session so close to their wedding day because the entire family became pros and pictures were a breeze! I think even the boys were excited... although they may have just been excited to get to the chocolate fountain which promptly ended up all over their faces and suits! It was truly an honor to capture this special day as Jennifer and Brien's closest friends and family surrounded them to support and celebrate this new chapter in their love story. To the new Mr. and Mrs. Dungan - thank you for letting me be a part of your day and making me feel like a member of the family! I hope you love these images as much as I do!

Leilah and James are the perfect example of why I love my job so much. After spending time with them during their engagement session, I couldn't help but notice the similarities between their relationship and my own marriage. It took just one late night dinner (and a fair amount of wine later) at Casa de Doty to know that our fate was sealed... We were going to be BFFs. I am SO grateful that my job brought these two into our lives. It was absolutely amazing to capture the people we love as they were celebrated on their wedding day. Friends and family from all over the country came to see them tie the knot! It was clear that everyone there shared the same sentiment about this couple - they are both truly special, but even better together. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for Leilah and James; if it was anything like their wedding it will be an absolute BLAST! To the Zahedis and Spungs - thank you for making me feel like a part of the family. Leilah and James are so lucky to have such an amazing support system!
HUGE thank you to Ann of Ann Parks Photography for capturing great shots and helping everyone embrace the silly.

I'm so excited to share Mary Catherine and Rich's beautiful wedding day! Mary Catherine and Rich have been dating for almost a decade which made each process of the wedding so special. With so much history together as a couple, it was truly special to see their love celebrated by everyone that has witnessed their relationship grow from high school sweethearts to husband and wife. The wedding day began with Mary Catherine and her bridesmaids getting ready at her dad and stepmom's GORGEOUS home; I seriously asked if I could have every bride prep there. There was a lot of extra time which gave the ladies a chance to just relax and have fun together. It was awesome not to have chaos of the last minute prep before heading to the church! I was thrilled to be able to shoot at our church, Peachtree Presbyterian. We actually joined at the same time as Mary Catherine and Rich! Now, every time they attend a service they will be reminded of their beautiful wedding day. After their evening ceremony, Mary Catherine and Rich headed to Cherokee Town and Country Club in their 1947 Lincoln convertible which was passed down from Rich's grandfather. Friends and family danced the night away and sent the newlyweds off with a sparkler exit! Mary Catherine and Rich - thank you so much for letting me be a part of your day. I hope you love these images as much as I do! Congrats again!

Getting this session on the calendar in the middle of wedding season was tricky... and when a serious thunderstorm hit RIGHT when we got to the park, it made for another round of juggling schedules and the weather forecast! Thankfully what started out to be an overcast morning turned into a beautiful day perfect for capturing this blue-eyed cutie's energetic and curious personality as a one year old! It was so great to get to know this family a little better as I typically only get to see Lindsay and Robert at Morgan's work functions! Thank you, Lindsay and Robert, for letting me capture this special time in your family's life!!
