Whitney and Bart kicked off my double header wedding weekend on Friday at the Capital City Club in Brookhaven right down the road from me! It was a pretty toasty day, even for June in Georgia, but somehow I couldn't convince the wedding party to jump in the pool at the country club! Thankfully everyone was still game to sweat it out for a few portraits outside. Whitney and Bart were the picture perfect representation of a classic southern wedding (I am a sucker for a white jacket and lace and tulle gown), but this crew knows how to party! I was so thrilled to celebrate with their amazing family and friends!
Ladies and gentlemen, last Saturday's wedding was one for the books! Amy and John's gorgeous ceremony at Cathedral of Christ the King followed by an epic party at Fernbank Museum of Natural History was perfect from start to finish. Their wedding fit their personalities to a T - southern, traditional details paired with a super fun bridal party and amazing family members by their side. Everyone was just so excited for Amy and John's next chapter in their love story and it was truly special to be able to capture the excitement... and dance moves.
I knew Christine and Bradley were an active, adventurous couple just based on their proposal story by the Chattahoochee River. Little did I know just how adventurous they would be for their engagement session last week! We started off the muggy evening at Roswell Mill and made our way down to the waterfalls. These two broke out the Chacos and easily made their way down to the water. I on the other hand, could've used a pair. The path down seems a bit more treacherous when you're carrying expensive camera equipment, but the trek was SO worth it. Christine and Bradley are the most smiling couple you've ever seen and it made my job a breeze. They're love is so comfortable and full of laughter, which was quite contagious! After a quick change we explored downtown Roswell and found a few hidden gems. Christine and Bradley - thank you so much for spending your evening with me! Even if humidity got the best of all of our hair. Can't wait for the big day next year!
Oh friends. These newlyweds are two of my favorites and I am so thrilled to be able to share their Monday Night Brewing wedding with you! The fact that they had their wedding at a brewery is just a small insight into their incredibly fun and genuinely sweet personalities. Not only did I have the honor of capturing Chris and Kaitlin's wedding day, but I was able to watch their relationship grow and flourish from the beginning. I first met Chris while working at Georgia Tech and we were all so excited about this higher education love connection. Kaitlin is the perfect match for Chris, right down to the pearls and the bow ties.
