The wonderful thing about working with friends is that knowing you get to play a bigger part in such an exciting time in their lives. Before hiring me, my friends always ask if I would rather attend their wedding as a guest or a vendor. For me it is a no brainer.
On Saturday I had the incredible honor of photographing Tara and Ryan's Roswell Mill Club wedding and it was absolutely stunning!
When Meredith told me she wanted to have her engagement session at Serenbe Farms, I was SO excited! Not only was it a chance to get out of the city for the evening, but it is a stunning venue!
What better way to celebrate a second birthday than with balloons?! Especially when the balloons match a super cute monogrammed dress. Although I think Molly had other plans for this simple prop... apparently she loves Frozen and really likes to LET IT GOOOOO!!!! Let it GOOO!!!! Molly was absolutely tickled watching us run around and jump to catch her balloons. The Giffords are surely my kind of family. They didn't sweat it (other than the actual heat) when the balloons finally drifted up into the trees. They just enjoyed being able to capture their family in that moment to celebrate this special time in their lives! Katie, Giff, and Molly - thank you so much for spending your Sunday evening with me! I hope you continue to have Molly hold balloons on her birthday until she is a teenager and thinks it's lame. :) Enjoy!
It was such a treat to explore Mercer University's campus with Whitney and Scott! I absolutely love it when my couples want their engagement pictures in a meaningful place. Since these two met in college and are tying the knot in the campus chapel, I'd say Mercer is pretty meaningful! It is an absolutely gorgeous campus with old brick buildings, stone archways, and a perfectly landscaped quad. Whitney and Scott were such troopers in the heat and graciously showed me around their campus! I am SO excited for their wedding and very thankful that it will be a lot cooler in February! :) Whitney and Scott - thank you so much for taking time out of your week to capture these images. I hope you love them as much as I do!
