First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby in a baby carriage! I don't think I've ever made these two take a picture kissing in a tree, but I have captured Amy and John in some pretty amazing times in their lives as a couple! However, I think this phase might be my favorite. I cannot wait to see the Crupies as parents but most importantly I can't wait to meet their little girl... and see Bailey as a wonderfully fluffy big sister. Amy and John were troopers for their maternity session - being pregnant in the hot summertime is ROUGH... and there was an important soccer game on that night that John wanted to watch, ha! It is truly an honor to grow along with my couples and it's pretty special to be there for your friends. LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
Oh how I love this sweet family. I got to meet Miss Anna when she was just a few days old and her parents were wondering what in the world they had gotten into. Fast forward 2+ years later and Sara and Dustin are pros... which is good because I totally see a lot of Mila in Anna and I am definitely taking notes! Anna is a smart cookie with a huge heart and maybe an even bigger personality. I see so much of Sara and Dustin in her which means she is going to be a light in so many people's lives and she always puts a smile on my face when I get to spend any time with her. Folks always say the days are long but the years are short and boy do I feel this statement when I look at these pictures of Anna. I can't wait to continue watching her spunky self grow up and loving on one of my favorite families. Sara and Dustin - in case you didn't know or doubt yourself on those hard days - you're doing a great job. Also, my bar is stocked for said hard days!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!
A year ago my heart exploded. I finally knew what it meant to love something so much it hurt. Now we chase, snuggle (when she lets us), learn, love and laugh with our ONE YEAR OLD baby girl. It was a journey that started with cautious optimism and many doctors appointments, but was filled with excitement, love and anticipation as we welcomed our girl. It's hard to believe how much can change in a year. I didn't think I could feel so much love for someone I just met or fall even more in love with Morgan, but I did. Before another year goes by, time seems to fly with a baby, I wanted to share the story of the BEST DAY EVER. Normally I am the storyteller of our family but since I was pretty much in a haze for the first month of Mila's life, Morgan is guest-blogging for me and reliving the moments that we grew our family and hearts by one. He took the time to write it all down when Mila was two weeks old so we wouldn't forget anything ...excuse me while I grab the Kleenex.
