I have known this couple for a LONGGGG time. You see I have about 8 brothers and Josh is one of them. Some are not blood related but all of them have always been my brothers. This may be the reason why I didn't go on many dates and married one of the first guys that met their approval (that process ain't easy). Sarah has always been a part of this group. Although they are celebrating their 5th anniversary this year, they've been together for over a decade! It isn't easy keeping a handle on these guys and Lord knows she has survived a lot of beach trips with this rowdy bunch, but she and Josh still have such an amazing connection. I had so much fun capturing this special milestone in their relationship (and the addition of Blue to the family!). It's amazing to see how much more comfortable a couple can be in front of a camera when they have lived together and been married for a few years - they just clicked so perfectly and I love that you can see that in their images. Sarah and Josh - I had a blast catching up with you guys and exploring this awesome location! I just wish we could have eaten the pecans. :) Enjoy folks!
I always enjoy time spent getting to know my couples during their engagement session, but when a session ends with bourbon and barbecue - my little southern heart (and belly!) sings! We hopped in the car and headed to Ryan's family farm about an hour out of Atlanta and on to Ryan's family home on the Flint River. I think we spent a majority of the trip trying to convince Ryan that they needed a puppy ASAP! It was so great to get out of the city, explore the farm, and spot the families of deer running through the fields. If these two had picked a different photographer in Atlanta, I think their brain might have exploded. My little Statesboro heart felt right at home! Mary & Ryan - I had SO much fun with you guys and hope you love these as much as I do! We may have to go back for round two when the corn comes in AND you get a puppy ;) Enjoy! Did I mention we had a GORGEOUS sunset?!
When a couple asks if I will travel to the beach to capture their wedding, the answer will always be YES!!!!! Any excuse to be on the water is just fine with me. Ashley and Richard's wedding day was 80% chance of rain early in the week but the clouds managed to part and created a beautiful backdrop to their beach front ceremony. The intimate ceremony was touching and emotional as Richard saw his bride for the first time coming down the aisle and their minister charged each guest with loving and praying for the Murphy's as they embark on this new adventure as a married couple. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed the refreshing ocean breeze, drinks, and a few rounds of corn hole as we headed to the beach to capture a few quick shots before the tide came in. This couple had me rolling during their engagement session and their wedding day was no different. With an awesome bridal party and a couple with a great sense of humor, this wedding was such a blast to capture! Ashley and Richard - thank you so much for giving me a fabulous excuse to travel down to Jekyll Island and celebrate with your friends and family! I hope you both had an amazing trip to Mexico!! Thank you both again so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day! --Much Love, Jill

There is a phase of life that so many couples don't ever capture. Once you get engaged you feel like you're always in front of a camera but once you're married and settled in - the pictures seem to be frozen in time at the moment you said "I do!". Frankly this new phase of life is my absolute favorite: you are married, settled into your home, and weekends are spent with family, friends, and your children of the four legged variety. I was so happy to spend time with Claire and Jon capturing this wonderful time in their lives! Not only was it time to update their pictures, but they just brought home this fluffy, clumsy cutie named Kaiser! Before Kaiser turns into a small horse (he is a Bernese Mountain dog which weigh an average of 100 lbs) they wanted to capture his precious puppy qualities. It was so fun to watch Kaiser climbing all over his big sister, Dakota! Claire and Jon - thanks for spending your evening with us after a long day! I hope y'all love these as much as I do! These two love each other and it's so sweet!!!
You realize how small the world is when you have several different friends from different parts of life referring you to the same couple! I couldn't be more thrilled that Steph and Kipp were sent my way as they are such a fun, genuine, and loving couple! It seems like just yesterday we were in Lenox Park for their engagement session and playing with Wrigley. The Roswell Mill Club was the perfect venue to blend Stephanie's stunning traditional lace gown and cathedral length veil with Kipp's chucks and flip flops for guests to dance the night away! With a couple as down to earth as the Ramseys, it's no surprise that they were surrounded by so many awesome friends and family on their wedding day! Steph and Kipp - thank you so much for making me feel like an old friend. I had a blast capturing your day and celebrating this new chapter in your love story! Big thanks to Amanda Prior for shooting with me and capturing the guys getting ready! Love this shot below by Amanda! Steph & Kipp - thank you again for letting me celebrate and capture your day! I hope you guys had an amazing time in Mexico and I can't wait for future puppy dates!
