While I would rather spend a weekend in the fall at the prettiest little stadium in the south or at historic Grant Field, Katie and Will wanted to take their engagement pictures at the University of Georgia where they met through Will's fraternity. Their session began at the State Botanical Gardens but I think I was more impressed by UGA's beautifully landscaped campus, brick pathways, gorgeous fountain, and hidden gardens! This couple was so much fun and incorporated so many cute details into their session. I can't imagine what Katie and Will's wedding will have in store! Thanks for showing me the places where your love story began, see you guys in May!
After meeting this happy, bubbly couple last December for their engagement session I knew that this wedding would not only be beautiful but also full of love, laughter, and lots of dancing! Brittany and Jonathan married at the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel which was the perfect site for their charming southern wedding complete with neutral hues complemented by hydrangeas and magnolias. The ceremony was emotional as Jonathan saw his bride for the first time walking down the aisle and I think most guests were also reaching for the Kleenex! Brittany and Jonathan are truly a special couple and are so obviously adored by their family and friends. They just ooze grace and epitomize the meaning of southern hospitality. Throughout their wedding day, Brittany asked if I needed anything and if I was having fun! It was a blessing to get to know you Mr. & Mrs. Beuoy. I am so thankful that you asked me to be a part of your beautiful day! ... P.S. Also a big thank you for throwing caution to the wind (and ocean) Sunday. More on that soon!
For now, enjoy!
Brittany and Jonathan - Thank you again for letting me capture your special day. I hope your marriage is as beautiful as your wedding day!
Much love, Jill

Raise your hand if you haven taken family portraits in over 3 years... 5 years... 10 years?! It is so easy to let time slip away without updating your family's portrait. Over time families grow and gain new members whether by saying "I do!" or welcoming a new bundle of joy. I think we're all guilty of just taking the casual cell phone shots and calling it a day. Luckily Brooke and Will decided they wanted to surprise their mom with the wonderful gift of new family portraits on the beach! It worked out perfectly to plan for the portraits on Tybee Island before heading to the Sikes-Beuoy wedding (post coming soon!) as the Davis family is closely related to the bride. It was so wonderful to catch up with this family and see how Davis has grown! Thank you guys for starting your long day a little early to capture these images. I hope you love them as much as I do!
