I'm constantly reminded of how small this world is. I'm pretty sure I had less than six degrees of separation before I even realized that Jaclyn and Chris lived just down the street! We were finally able to get a session on the calendar and it could not have been a more perfect evening for a session. It just doesn't get any better than 70 degrees on a late November evening with gorgeous light. It was so great to be able to get to know sweet Harrison's fun personality (plus his precious pup!) and meet the newest addition to the Maxwell family, Mark! Thank you all for taking time out of your busy schedules to capture these images, I had a blast!
The sweet Carley family braved the chilly morning with me at Agnes Scott's beautiful campus last weekend. Sometimes even with the promise of delicious donuts after a photo session, kids just aren't as excited about smiling when it's 45 degrees outside! Who can blame them? I'm not too fond of this cold weather either! Despite the cold, I had so much fun spending time throwing leaves and "1-2-3 CHEESE"-ing with you all! Thank you Emily and Chad for taking time out of your weekend to capture these images... and for the yummy donuts! :)
I had the pleasure of capturing Jackson's newborn session last year and Jaimi and Dan moved soon after so I was thrilled to hear that they were in town for Thanksgiving! Luckily for me the family they are in town to visit with are also near and dear to my heart! I love capturing families as they grow whether they grow because of weddings, babies, or even pups! Thank you guys for taking time out of your weekend to hang out with me and introduce me to a new park! Happy Thanksgiving, love you all!
If building a house and getting married in the same year wasn't enough decision making, picking a spot for an engagement session that fit their personalities was a little bit of a challenge... at first. Luckily I have been to Lullwater Park several times and just knew that it would be perfect for Tara and Ryan! I had so much fun going through the park with these two; I don't trespass for just anyone! ;) Although I don't think they realized they were going to get a workout with me going along the trails and up and down the hills! I cannot wait for their wedding next July and to see what the future has in store for them. Tara and Ryan - thanks for braving the chilly evening to capture these images. I hope you love them as much as I do! Enjoy!
I'm so glad that Leilah and James decided to have an engagement session. James did a fabulous job planning his proposal at Piedmont Park, including having friends nearby to take pictures. When you have your ACTUAL engagement captured it may seem frivolous to have an engagement session with your wedding photographer. However, it is a great way to get to know each other, get comfortable in front of the camera, and of course it's a chance to include the pup! I had a blast with Leilah and James and their sweet (and strong) pup, Reggie at the park! And we even got to enjoy the filming of a rap video at Jackson Street Bridge while capturing shots of the skyline! ;) Thank you both for spending your Sunday evening with me and a big thank you to Charity for helping us with Reggie!
