I have kept this surprise proposal unwraps for almost TWO MONTHS in anticipation for it to be featured with How He Asked and I am absolutely thrilled to be able to share it with you now!!
I had the pleasure of spending the day with Becky and Zach on Zach's family's farm- Diastole Farms in Concord, GA. This farm holds a special meaning for these two as it was the place Zach proposed and they've shared so many memories of family together there. It is an absolutely stunning venue with such a unique story.
Photographing another photographer's family is completely intimidating but I was so thrilled to be able to capture sweet memories for Olga, Chester and Daniela before their family of three adds the newest member in January! Daniela is incredibly independent and a total free spirit and I think the only time she wasn't running around was when she sat down to read. It was so precious! I cannot wait to meet Baby Thomas in January and capture their first moments as a family of four! Olga and Chester - thank you for trusting me with this incredible time in your lives!!
Ansley and Austin are two of the sweetest people you could ever meet and I was so blessed to have been able to photograph their beautiful wedding at Summerour Studio in Midtown Atlanta! I absolutely LOVE Summerour but I may be a little biased, we were married there too! The gorgeous courtyard and newly renovated space upstairs makes for GORGEOUS portraits but one of the best parts about Summerour is its proximity to Barking Hound Village where Ansley and Austin's gigantic Great Dane Bria was staying for the weekend!
I loved getting to celebrate another Collins wedding at Whitlock Inn in Marietta, Georgia last weekend!! Sometimes your best laid plans go out the window, like when your original venue bails on you. Thankfully, Janie found the Whitlock Inn and decided it was the perfect place for her and Drew to say "I do!". These two were so laid back about the entire planning process and didn't let a few bumps in the road spoil the fun, so on their wedding day I was no surprised that they were both cool as cucumbers!
