On a super dreary fall day I got to meet a precious little boy named Andrew and his sweet parents! Often my newborn clients are past wedding clients so there is a level of comfort there for new parents. Since this was my first time meeting Meredith and Alan, it was not lost on me that I was being invited into an intimate and super vulnerable time for first time Mom and Dad! Thankfully it felt more like meeting old friends. Andrew was such a precious little nugget... a hungry little nugget, but so precious! I loved getting to incorporate some fun details into this session like the New York Times from the day he was born (a nod to Dad's job!) and the amazing map rug that fit perfectly with Andrew's travel themed nursery. Meredith and Alan - thank you for trusting me to capture this special time in your family's life!! Congratulations again!
I had the pleasure of hanging out with the Ferguson family and their newest addition, Miss Elsie Jayne! Although I am pretty sure Elsie's big brother, Baxter, thought I was there for him. I can't say I hated getting to love on him a little too! Elsie was a champ throughout her session and just wanted to snuggle and she especially enjoyed the warmth of the beautiful blankets her great grandmothers made for her. Rebecca and TJ were already so comfortable in their new roles as Mom and Dad. This little one is so lucky to have them as her parents and for the big support system of family and friends excited to watch her grow. Congratulations again you two (three)! I am so happy I was able to capture this fleeting time in your lives!!
I had the pleasure of photographing two of the sweetest people at their intimate wedding at Barnsley Gardens. This was my second wedding of the weekend, but the energy and excitement Katie and Ryan had surrounding this day was more than enough to help me power through! It didn't hurt that I had my girl, Suzanne White at the helm... literally the helm of the golf cart and also making my job a breeze! My favorite moment of the day wasn't the cool vintage car, exploring the Ruins or the colorful blooms, it was after Katie and Ryan exited their ceremony and Ryan looked at Katie and said, "This is the best day of my life." Talk about sweet!!
