This sweet family couldn't tell me exactly when they last had their picture taken which is hard to believe because they were total pros and so much fun to work with! The entire family came into town to celebrate Thanksgiving and Catherine thought it would be a great Christmas present for her mom to (finally!) take their family portraits. I have always cherished my family's portraits, even the really embarrassing ones from the 90's. As I get older I realize how important it is to have those memories so I was so happy to capture this time in Hughes' family's life! Thank you all for spending a chilly morning with me! I loved getting to know all of you!
Such a beautiful, crisp fall day in Piedmont Park for a session! Thankful for a sweet family to spend it with!
The holidays seem to induce a time of reflection and gratitude... or maybe it's just the wine that makes me sappy. Many people encourage you to pursue a passion but very few will selflessly take an active role in making it happen. My life would be so incredibly different without this amazingly talented, super sweet woman! It's funny (mostly scary!) to think about how different things would be if I had not been smart enough to hire Lacey to capture our wedding day or if she was not generous enough to share her knowledge, skills, and talent with an over-eager newbie. I'm so grateful to have Lacey as a friend, photographer, sister from another mister, sounding board, fellow ketchup enthusiast, and lover of all funny gifs. She is seriously the best ever and if you don't believe me, check out her work!
Lacey - thank you for just being awesome. I always have so much fun with you so you should probably move back to Atlanta so we can take over the world... or at least the wedding photography world. Once your state thaws out we will definitely be planning a trip!! Love you dear!
