I have known Katie for several years through working at Georgia Tech but somehow never met her fun family that she talked so much about! Let me tell you, you simply cannot spend time with the Faussemagne family without laughing. I got a few new jokes from John and Christopher... and some I still don't understand, but either way I had so much fun with them! I mean how often do I get to watch a sumo wrestling match during a shoot? Thanks Katie and Chris for spending time with me capturing these fun memories at your home!
The Poucher family joined in on my mini session fun this year and I am so glad they did! Let me just tell you, James is the cutest and most stylish kiddo you could ever meet and I LOVE it! I think there are a few men out there that could take a wardrobe tip or two from him. Not only was James well dressed, but he was ready to ham it up for the camera. With a few practice runs at home, he had his "Smile for Miss Jill" nailed down for their session! It is so fun to watch James grow into his own personality and see how much joy he brings to his parents! Allie and Kirk - thank you so much for spending your Sunday morning with me!
This year I had my first ever round of mini sessions and was a little nervous of how if it would run smoothly! Kids are unpredictable and you can never really guarantee how they will feel about having their picture taken that day! The sweet Carley family had decided that if their kiddos were going to have a meltdown, they would just have a really funny Christmas card that year. Thankfully Lillian and Andy were troopers! Thank you Emily and Chad for being flexible after the monsoon that kept pushing our pictures back! I hope you love these as much as I do!
I met Kelsey and Mike and Kelsey's sister, Brianna's wedding! It was a rainy day and they were such troopers but unfortunately that rain continued for about 3 weeks and completely ruined our mini-session plans! Thankfully we picked a Saturday morning that wasn't as wet and captured these fun memories! It's so easy to forget to have pictures taken in the period between getting married and having kids but I think this type of session is my favorite. You're so much more comfortable with each other and you know exactly how to make each other laugh. Kelsey and Mike also included their pups Lincoln and Reagan who are pretty much the coolest dogs ever that tolerated holding stockings in their mouths for over five minutes! Mike, come train Molly! Thank you both for being flexible with your schedule and having fun with me at Murphey Candler Park!
The Pankhurst family joined in on the mini session fun and after about 3 weeks of rain and reschedule sessions, I finally got to see them again! Earlier this year, Elliot was the cutest flower girl ever at Caitlin and Jacques wedding so I was excited for their family portraits! Although I think the cuteness in the family didn't stop there, her little brother Gibson is quite the charmer with those big brown eyes! It was so fun to see how excited they were to see ducks at Murphey Candler Park and even after taking a tumble they were still happy kiddos. Alyssa and Jeff - thank you so much for spending your Saturday morning with me!
