It has been the dreariest December that I can remember. This time last year I was facing a snowy wedding day, but last Saturday was just constant rain. Thankfully Venue 92 has a covered outdoor space for the ceremony, but I’m even more thankful that Kristen and Eric didn’t let the forecast phase them one bit. They were even up for a few portraits in the rain! These two met at work and if you were at their reception you could tell they may work hard, but they play harder. Their family and friends didn't want to leave!! Kristen and Eric had such an amazing support system for their wedding day (including two of my favorite past brides!) and it just felt like one big family celebrating together. Everyone definitely got a little closer around the heaters during the ceremony so I think folks felt like family afterwards regardless!
There was a 100% chance of rain for Danielle and Joseph's wedding at Little River Farms all week. I hoped, prayed, and did the best anti-rain dance I could, but Mother Nature decided to throw an extra challenge my way. When I reached out to Danielle the morning of her wedding, reassuring her that her wedding day would be fabulous no matter the weather, she wasn't worried one bit. Danielle and Joseph were both just excited to see all their planning come together and I would say it was definitely worth it! After a beautiful ceremony, Stylish Stems and Affairs to Remember flipped the space and transformed it into a stunning winter wedding reception that was both warm and inviting with cool tones and glamorous linens! Guests enjoyed a fun photobooth, a cannoli bar, delicious cake and dancing to the awesome Atlanta Wedding Band. Rather than a send off, Danielle and Joseph soaked up every last second with their family and friends on the dance floor and gave hugs to everyone there! It was the perfect ending to their wedding.
