I don't know that I've ever had a couple that was so expressive in their excitement for their wedding day and the knowledge that they would have forever together. Mark couldn't stop looking at Margaret during their ceremony at St. Mary's in Rome, Georgia and it was so sweet to see him sneak in a kiss or two before they officially said, "I do!". Margaret and Mark are obviously so in love and I had the honor of photographing their wedding day. The big day started early with mimosas and went into the night as guests danced the night away to the band, Big Bling and the Funk Machine! Surrounded by the sweetest family and friends, Margaret and Mark enjoyed the perfect fall wedding day with just a tiny sprinkle of rain before their reception for good luck!
Margaret got ready with her bridesmaids at Barnsley Gardens. As we got the detail shots set up, the ladies kept ooh-ing and ahh-ing at all the goodies! It was so sweet to see how excited they were for Margaret's day and especially how they were thrilled to be able to see the first look from the cottage's front porch. When Mark turned to see Margaret in her beautiful dress with a cathedral length veil, he loudly gasped. He was like a kid at Christmas! We knocked out portraits at Barnsley before heading to the church... although getting Mark to look at the camera instead of Margaret was quite the task, but who can blame him? After Margaret and Mark were officially married, they left St. Mary's to head to their party in the coolest vintage car! They mixed and mingled during their cocktail hour so they had as much time with family and friends as possible, but once the dancing started Margaret and Mark could only be found on the dance floor. Before we knew it, it was time for their sparkler exit and golf-cart getaway!
