For almost seven years I have had the pleasure of having Sara and Dustin in front of my camera. First for their engagement, then wedding and many times over as their family has grown. I am so excited for the White family as they are awaiting the arrival of a baby BOY! It's so fun being pregnant at the same time with your friends... mostly so we can gripe about the same punches to the bladder and lack of sleep BEFORE the baby even comes, but I am just excited to meet and love on this newest member of my favorite crew. If he is half as cool as his big sister, I know we will all adore him. Anna is full of so much spunk, curiosity and sweetness and she's going to be the best big sister! Sara and Dustin - thank you for always including me in your huge milestones... extra bonus points for bringing Bear and Kathy and Phil this time too!! LOVE YOU GUYS!
The Montags have added a new little girl into the world and it was such a bright spot in my day (let's be real, month) to get to meet her. I have loved getting to watch this family grow and it is such an honor that they let me be a part of these moments. Photographing two kiddos is always a little harder and more daunting for parents, but it was so incredibly sweet to see Cooper loving on his little sister. He was so excited to hold her and eager to give her all the kisses I asked him to. Now I'm not saying there weren't gummy bears given in exchange for a few poses but I would say it was worth it! Lindsay and Chris - thank you so much for having me and letting me love on your little ones. I can't wait to watch Charlie grow!
I had the pleasure of meeting Amira and Mahmoud for their maternity session a few weeks ago and couldn't wait to meet sweet Neda when I heard she made her arrival two weeks early! I love in-home newborn sessions because they not only allow mom and dad to feel comfortable in their own environment, but I get to capture the first place your little one calls home... besides mom's belly. Plus I love seeing how parents decorate the nursery! Neda has the nursery every girl dreams of and I told Amira I would totally move into her room if I could! This sweet family is doing such a great job to juggle all of the new parent twists and turns and doing it with a sense of humor which is all you can do in those first few weeks honestly! Neda you are pretty darn lucky to have so many people that love you and to have Amira and Mahmoud as your parents! Amira and Mahmoud - thank you for letting me in on this sweet time in your lives!!
Photographing a sweet little baby in their first few days or weeks into this world is such an honor. I am always humbled when couples trust me with some of their most cherished moments whether it's their wedding day or capturing their newest family member. For Feagan and John, I have had the pleasure of doing both! Seeing them as a couple and now as parents, you can easily see why they make such a good team - they are a TEAM! Little Luke is such a lucky little boy to have Feagan and John as his mama and daddy and I cannot wait to see him grow up! For now I hope they enjoy all those baby cuddles and having time together as a family of three. Feagan and John - thank you for letting me be a part of this chapter in your life. You have a super cute new distraction from the chaos outside and I couldn't be happier for you guys!!!
Life with a newborn is tough. Add a toddler and a pandemic and it can seem impossible. Thankfully Danielle and Bo are so laid back and just taking things one day at a time which is the only way to do it in this season of life! Big brother BC was hoping I was there to play but he did love giving Noah kisses which was absolutely precious. As these two grow up together I have no doubt there will be mischief but seeing how much BC loves his baby brother (and their "grumpy old dog"), I know they'll all be best friends. Danielle and Bo - thank you so much for asking me to be a part of this special time in your families life. It was so wonderful to see you both again and meet your little ones!!
