On a super dreary fall day I got to meet a precious little boy named Andrew and his sweet parents! Often my newborn clients are past wedding clients so there is a level of comfort there for new parents. Since this was my first time meeting Meredith and Alan, it was not lost on me that I was being invited into an intimate and super vulnerable time for first time Mom and Dad! Thankfully it felt more like meeting old friends. Andrew was such a precious little nugget... a hungry little nugget, but so precious! I loved getting to incorporate some fun details into this session like the New York Times from the day he was born (a nod to Dad's job!) and the amazing map rug that fit perfectly with Andrew's travel themed nursery. Meredith and Alan - thank you for trusting me to capture this special time in your family's life!! Congratulations again!
I had the pleasure of hanging out with the Ferguson family and their newest addition, Miss Elsie Jayne! Although I am pretty sure Elsie's big brother, Baxter, thought I was there for him. I can't say I hated getting to love on him a little too! Elsie was a champ throughout her session and just wanted to snuggle and she especially enjoyed the warmth of the beautiful blankets her great grandmothers made for her. Rebecca and TJ were already so comfortable in their new roles as Mom and Dad. This little one is so lucky to have them as her parents and for the big support system of family and friends excited to watch her grow. Congratulations again you two (three)! I am so happy I was able to capture this fleeting time in your lives!!
I was the third (non-medical) person to meet sweet Lucy. She was only an hour into this world and had already wrapped her parents around her little fingers... and may have made my uterus ache a little. Her perfect little face and tiny little fingers... just makes you melt. I was so honored that Haley and Thomas wanted me to capture those first few moments as a family of three. It's an incredible and fleeting time and I'm just so glad Lucy made her arrival before I had a wedding to shoot so I could be there. Once these three were settled in at home, I was able to capture all the newborn sleepy, squishy-ness. Thomas and Haley are still in the "what are we supposed to be doing now?!" phase but they are already so comfortable in their roles as Mom and Dad. Lucy girl, you are in such good hands and Mila is all ready to show you the way (for better or worse). I cannot wait to watch you grow up and grow into your own little personality. Thomas and Haley - YOU'VE GOT THIS! And when you think you don't, you have an entire support system ready to help... I for one volunteer as tribute for baby snuggles when you need a break. LOVE YOU GUYS!
I have the incredible honor of photographing some of the most cherished moments in my clients' lives. I was fortunately able to capture Madeline and David's stunning wedding day, but getting to see these two more in love with each other and already so in love with their little one was extra special. Although I will admit that the icing on the cake was seeing images from their engagement session and wedding day all over the walls of their new home. Now I can't wait to see images from Emerson's newborn session hit the frames! This cutie is one lucky little boy - his parents are already pros at being Mom and Dad, but Madeline and David make a great team as well. Emerson didn't want to miss the action during his big shoot and his big curious eyes soaked it all in. Thankfully at the end of the session he decided a nap was in order... and I think David may have been ready for one too. Madeline and David - thank you so much for welcoming me into your home to capture this sweet time. I can't wait to see Emerson grow and maybe join in on a few walks when it isn't 1000 degrees outside! Love you guys!!
![]() The sweet Jones family are now a family of FOUR with TWO boys under TWO! We've celebrated our friends as they got married and ooohed and ahhed when we met adorable Henry and now we get to love on precious Evan. This little nugget is so cute and he slept like a champ for his newborn session, but the way Henry called his baby brother "Evie" was ovary-exploding material. I know it isn't easy with two kiddos much less two under two, but Jordan and Sarah make such a great team and these boys are so lucky to have them as parents. Congratulations again guys!! We love y'all! |
