While these two are enjoying one of my favorite places on earth - ITALY!!! - I am so thrilled to share more from their wedding day at the Foundry at Puritan Mill with you! I am so grateful to have been a part of Kristi and Alex's special day! We spent time together during their engagement session so I knew I would love them, but I didn't know I would also love their families! I cherish getting the last hug from the couple at the end of a long wedding day, but after Kristi and Alex's day I got hugs from their family too. They were seriously surrounded by some amazing people!! Kristi and Alex's love story was many years in the making, but technically the clock didn't start until a friend played matchmaker 11 years after they first *technically* met. I'd say their wedding day was certainly well worth the wait (or #aldworththewait)! Kristi and Alex planned this day together and it fit them perfectly from the beautiful copper details to right down to the Land Rover groom's cake and late night burgers and fries! The excitement Kristi and Alex felt about starting a new adventure as husband and wife was mirrored in all their amazing family and friends that came to celebrate their day, I was just so glad to be a part of it! We started the day at the Renaissance Hotel in Midtown with the bridesmaids with Hillary joining the groomsmen at Kristi and Alex's home. Since the Foundry doesn't have much green space, I took these UGA grads to a beautiful location [that shall not be named] for their first look where they also exchanged gifts. Alex surprised Kristi with a second wedding band tied casually to his note. It was so sweet!! After their portraits we headed to the Foundry where Kristi and Alex were greeted with squeals and hugs from their family and friends! We snuck in a few more portraits before sending these two down the aisle. The rest of their night was a blur of dancing, delicious late night snacks, and a cloud of bubbles that sent them off into married life. Kristi and Alex - thank you so much for welcoming me into this exciting time in your life! You two were so fun and loving and I wish we could do this all over again!! Special thanks to Hillary of Hillary Joy Photography for hanging with the guys and also being Alex's driver for the first look! You wear so many hats when you work with me! :) Hair/Makeup: Borrelli's Salon - Danielle Klein & Leslie Coyle || Dress Designer: Eddy K Bridal || Bridal Salon: BHLDN || Bridesmaid Dresses: BHLDN || Men's Attire: The Black Tux || Floral Design & Coordination:
