Y'all. I think I have found my new favorite place to shoot. Not only is it on the water (my happy place) but there are ENDLESS beautiful spots to capture on Isle of Hope! It doesn't hurt that I had a stunning couple in front of my lens as well. The timing worked out perfectly for me to be able to travel to the Savannah area for Emily and Chase's engagement session last week since I was already headed down south for a wedding. Emily and Chase wanted to make sure to include their adorable pup, George in a few shots for their Christmas card so we started in their own beautiful neighborhood before making our way to our next location. We had planned to stop at Wormsloe but on the way there, I couldn't pass up shooting on Bluff Drive! There are oak trees dripping with Spanish moss and gorgeous homes galore! Emily tried to play it off like she was nervous to be in front of the camera - but they were both total pros! These two are so easy going and the way that they look at each other just melts your heart. They're both quick to laugh and snuggle close so it's no surprise that my job was easy that day! We ended our night on Chase's new boat as the sky was painted in stunning hues of pink and blue. I totally get why they've chosen to live on the Isle of Hope and my time with Emily and Chase totally had me questioning my decision to live in a big city! Emily and Chase - thank you so much for taking time out of your busy week to capture these images! I hope you love these as much as I do! I can't wait for the big day next fall!! |
