We appreciate the incredible love and support we have received from family and friends… and the store employee at Footlocker that helped me find pink baby Air Jordan’s that knew we were having a girl before Morgan did. But most importantly, I have been overwhelmed by the support of my brides both past and present – especially the sweet couples that are most impacted by our girl. For a long time, I was afraid of how a baby would impact my business, my brand and the way brides would view me. What if I was no longer relatable and “cool” (like I was ever cool)? But once again, I have been given grace and so much love from the people that make it possible for me to do this for a living and for that I will always be grateful.
To our families – thank you for loving little woman so much already and loving us so well. To our friends with kids – we need all the help/support/dinner dates in sweatpants we can get. To our friends without kids – still invite us. We may look dog tired, but babysitters exist and adult interaction is important. So is wine. To my couples – I promise to continue giving you an experience you couldn’t get anywhere else and not to bring a baby to your wedding. To the women out there that feel like this is just another instance of someone getting something you’ve longed for – I hear you. I’ve been there. You can unfollow me if you need to, but know I am cheering you on and always here for support if you need it.
