I have always loved New York. The city is electric, the buildings are humbling, people walk with a purpose, and delicious food is always within arms reach. When Morgan proposed, he combined two of my favorite things - New York City and Christmas time! Since then, it has been on my bucket list to capture a couple in one of the most exciting times in their lives in this amazing city and I am SO thrilled Twisha and Max helped me check it off the list! These two are so much fun and just so comfortable with each other. They were total pros in the first five minutes of the shoot! We met in the Upper West Side at Central Park and ventured around the park before hopping on the subway to head towards Twisha and Max's GORGEOUS apartment. We took advantage of their 360 degree rooftop view (with a little help from some tables for height and my BFF, Becca, for holding the tables!) before heading down to Bryant Park. You always hear that New Yorkers aren't know for their warm and fuzzy personalities so I was floored when the operator for the carousel let us come and climb all over the carousel for a few quick pictures! Maybe the locals get a bad rap after all. Since it was a cloudy day (and the huge buildings block the sun anyway) it got dark quickly, but we hustled around the corner to the New York Library for our last stop. Our feet were tired but I was so sad to wrap up their session - I think I could've explored the city with Twisha and Max all day!! Thankfully their wedding is right around the corner this fall so I will get to see them again soon! Twisha and Max - thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedules to capture these images in your beautiful city. I hope you love these as much as I do!!! |
