St. Simons is a special place for Hannah and Trey, as it is where they got engaged and where they will be married next spring! I am so glad they wanted to do their engagement session on the island because it is so beautiful! The Spanish moss, palm trees, and gorgeous sunsets over the water are a photographer's dream... not to mention it meant we got an impromptu family vacation too! Hannah and Trey met a year ago and on their first date enjoyed a trip to a brewery followed by Mexican food and margaritas. As Trey put it, "we had beer, Mexican, margaritas, and then I fell in love." When you know, you just know and I know these two have a lifetime of smiles and laughter ahead of them. Hannah and Trey are so comfortable with each other and can't look at each other without grinning ear to ear. We started their session at the Lighthouse where Trey proposed, and then hopped over to the church where they will get married. Our final stop was at Epworth, where we had a sunset that was quite the finale! The only thing that could've made it better was having their adorable dog Charlie there... but thankfully he'll be attending the wedding. Hannah and Trey - thank you so much for making the trip down and giving me an excuse to have a weekend at the beach! I cannot WAIT for March!! |
