I couldn’t have asked for a better kickoff to wedding season and first wedding post-Mila. I was able to photograph both the rehearsal dinner and wedding and both events were stunning, but best of all I got to know Arista and Jeff's sweet family and friends better! You can truly tell a lot about a person by the company they keep and Arista and Jeff are surrounded by the best. These two war eagles got married in Athens at the Taylor Grady House and everything fit them to a T from the beautiful outdoor ceremony, dancing under bistro lights and of course a special appearance by their sweet pup, Murphy!
We started the day with Arista's gorgeous details - hello adorable watercolor of Murphy - and got to see all of the flowers being delivered. It smelled like HEAVEN outside the Taylor Grady House!! As the bridesmaids arrived in their matching jammies, it was soon time to get Arista in her beautiful fitted dress with a dramatic bow accessory in the back. Ironically Arista had asked Jeff what he thought her dress would look like and he described her dress almost exactly. Just goes to show you how well these two know each other. As Jeff got set for his first look with Arista, he wasn't nervous at all - just super excited to see his bride! The day seemed to flow so easily as we knocked out all the portraits before the ceremony. We even got cloud coverage for the wedding party so it wasn't as hot! Thankfully their friends didn't complain and were total troopers. After Arista and Jeff became husband and wife (which included a "WAR EAGLE" during the ceremony) and the sun went down, the party turned up and guests enjoyed delicious food and danced the night away. Arista and Jeff left in a cloud of bubbles and are now off to Greece for their honeymoon! Arista and Jeff - thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day. LOVE YOU GUYS!
