After months of booked weekends in Atlanta we FINALLY made it home to Statesboro. Since I am a little behind on a few gifts (sorry Trent), I took some time to capture a few special places in town and around the house. I still refer to Statesboro as "home" no matter how long I have lived Atlanta. It is amazing how rejuvenating it can be to spend time with my family at a slower pace. I'm so grateful for all of the lessons this town and its people have taught me and I think about my hometown every day... especially when I am stuck in traffic on 85. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love living in Atlanta but I really love and appreciate my roots in our small town. After all, it is where I was able to grow up with my best friend and partner in life. As our lives seem to get pulled in every direction as of late, it felt so good to go home and feel grounded again. So this is my Reader's Digest tribute to a short weekend in Statesboro - hopefully I will be back soon. The three stooges...
