When you get a couple as laid back and genuine as Leslie and Chuck you do a happy dance... and happily stand on a ladder on the rooftop of a 28th floor venue even though you're terrified of heights just to capture some gorgeous portraits with the skyline view. Although I don't think I was the only one willing to do just about anything for this sweet couple. Leslie and Chuck were surrounded by friends that have supported their journey and it truly felt like one big family. Their wedding day was filled with touches that showcased their personalities, including their vows, the gorgeous illustrations on their paper goods and signage by Leslie, and of course the fun sunglasses for all the guests. The day flew by but Leslie and Chuck made sure to soak in each moment and even made time for a few last portraits at night while guests gathered to send them off into married life with sparklers! We started the day at the Loews Hotel which is a stone's throw from the Peachtree Club. It was actually really fun to be able to walk to the first look spot and be able to look up and see where Leslie and Chuck would tie the knot. Their family and friends joined us to capture some fun shots before escaping the heat inside the club where the Tulip team was creating magic! Soon it was time for the ceremony and as Leslie walked down the aisle, I looked back at Chuck to see a huge beaming smile all while Leslie's eyes were filled with happy tears. It was just so special to celebrate these two making it official and everything was perfect. Even the sunset was especially beautiful that night. Once the sun went down the lights of Atlanta shined a little brighter as Leslie and Chuck's family and friends danced the night away. Leslie and Chuck - thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day. Although it would have been fabulous to also document your amazing trip to Italy ;) Huge shout out to Amanda of A.Bloch Photography for keeping the timeline flowing after my car fiasco and capturing these gorgeous shots of Leslie getting dressed!
